P&G's Children's Safe Drinking Water

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and P&G have been working together for over a decade to improve the lives of thousands of people throughout the developing world. Their public-private partnership has enabled UNC to move forward with global health initiatives, provided a subject for case studies that benefit both P&G and the University, and given students the opportunity to work in the field, making a real difference in people's lives.

P&G's Children's Safe Drinking Water is working with its partners in 11 countries in Africa to provide clean drinking water to people living with HIV/AIDS in order to reduce instances of diarrheal illness, increase the effectiveness of antiretroviral medications and encourage women to return to clinics for care.
