Eric Pait
Web Developer & Visual Storyteller

About

I am a photographer turned web developer with a passion for integrating powerful visuals into interactive web content.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, I made the move to North Carolina to pursue a degree in photojournalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in school, I decided to learn how to build custom WordPress themes in order to create a portfolio site for my photography, and never looked back.

In the spring of 2013 I chose to focus full-time on interactive web development, and began supplementing online tutorials with courses as part of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication’s interactive multimedia journalism sequence.

While in school I worked as a web developer on a number of student projects run through the School of Journalism, such as the interactive documentary Over Water Under Fire, and began taking on freelance work to gain further experience.

After graduating in 2014, I relocated to Atlanta, GA, to launch my career in front-end development, and have continued to do freelance photography and web development work. If you are interested in hiring me for your next project, please get in touch.
